The announcement was made by Mir-Akbar Razavi, Head of the Civil Aviation Organization of Iran.
He said the agreement was signed based on the Iranian government’s policy to expand cooperation with the African country in different fields.
Razavi explained that the agreement calls for launching passenger and freighter flights between the capitals of the two countries.
He added that seven passenger flights will be carried out in a week, while freighter flights will have no limit in their capacity.
The agreement was signed in the Iranian capital Tehran, on the sidelines of a meeting by the Iran-Nigeria Joint Committee.
